Conor Friedersdorf, Staff Writer for The Atlantic

Please join us for a live-streamed event on May 18, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. with Atlantic staff writer Conor Friedersdorf.

After the events of September 11, 2001 left the country reeling, Americans pulled together and united against a common enemy.  In 2020, Americans resorted to brawling in stores over mask mandates.  Join us on May 18 for a freewheeling discussion as one journalist shares his views on recent events and issues that have left the country deeply divided.

Conor Friedersdorf is a California-based staff writer at The Atlantic, where he focuses on politics and national affairs. He is the founding editor of The Best of Journalism, a newsletter devoted to exceptional nonfiction.
