Criminal Justice Panel — Shon Hopwood & Jarrett Adams

Shon Hopwood and Jarrett Adams, moderated by Alec Klein.

Shon Hopwood and Jarrett Adams each offer a unique story with fascinating and insights into our criminal justice system. Shon Hopwood became a well-known jailhouse lawyer while serving time in prison for bank robbery. By the time he left prison, he was an accomplished Supreme Court practitioner. He later went to law school and now teaches law at Georgetown law school. Jarrett Adams also spent time in prison—in his case for a wrongful conviction. Upon his release, Mr. Adams obtained a law degree and has been working to improve the criminal justice system. These remarkable individuals will speak on a panel moderated by Alec Klein, an award winning investigative journalist, professor of journalism at Northwestern University
